We live on a busy Main Street in the Los Angeles area. We get a lot of dust exposure. We were amazed at how much dust accumulated on the filter. We've had it for 2 years and changed the filter once. They say the machine can detect the change in air quality and automatically increase fan speed to compensate. It really is like that! If someone farts in the room 💨, the fan will turn on automatically within a few seconds. This is very helpful when you eat a lot of beans. However, we did not notice that the fan turned down later. We have to do it manually.
