The original remote control for my Samsung TV broke after about 2 years of use. It looked like a good replacement, but what they sent me was a paperweight. I put in a couple of AAA batteries and got no response from my TV, no matter if I manually turned the TV on first. There aren't even instructions or anything in the box so I have no choice but to send it back to Revain. This leaves us with two options: 1) This remote control doesn't work on all Samsung Smart TVs even though it looks similar. remote control and a vague description in the listing, or 2) the remote control is 100% clean when it arrived. Each of them gets 1 star. So the search for a replacement continues. I'm just glad my phone doubles as a remote control.
