After extensive research for a new surveillance solution outside my home, I stumbled upon these new cameras and decided to try them, I bought two. These cameras replace two different brand names that just didn't work as surveillance cameras. Set up upon arrival was easy and syncing to my Wi-Fi network wasn't a problem unlike cameras from other brands. Contrary to the instructions, there is no green indicator when charging, only a red one, which goes out after charging. The batteries were charged for 4 hours on arrival and two months later a new charge was 8 hours each. After two months of operation, both cameras are working properly and as advertised. Latency or response time is pretty good. I don't just shoot backs of heads anymore and these cameras have already caught two people entering my property, nasty neighbors! These cameras are app controlled only, no base station. The app gives you excellent control over the camera, making it easy to set it up and forget it until it beeps. I've also added two 128GB micro SD cards as needed for content storage and there is no end to it, meaning that when the cards fill up they will be overwritten so nothing needs to be erased. Charging these cameras with a USB phone cable and the first charge takes about two months including setup. Overall, these are the best home security cameras I've ever used, they're economical, simple, and don't require a monthly or yearly fee. Now that I have two I could just add two more, maximum four is allowed via the app.
