My son is very thin and it suits him perfectly! This is a gem! Even better with an adjustable waist! My son has a thin waist and legs and is slightly shorter than boys his age. He is a size 7 and most pants that are skinny enough to fit around his waist are too short. It's long enough. They are also not so baggy at the waist that when you tighten the elastic at the waist they don't gather too much fabric to cause discomfort. They are spot on and make it look cool.
