The right tool for the job.
I've been using towels instead of paper towels for 20 years and they do the job: - They're a little smaller than face towels so they don't splatter. - They absorb moisture perfectly. - They resist many cleaning agents and solvents. - They do not crumble and do not leave villi. "I've washed them in hot water with bleach and tumble dried at least a dozen times. and they didn't fall apart. They are rough enough to effectively clean surfaces, but soft enough not to scratch them.
