I actually ordered by accident thinking Akita was a Teva model. They looked exactly like Tevas in every way. When I realized my mistake it was too late to cancel the order so I decided to give it a try. Of course they were nice. They fit well, but the insole just doesn't cut through the mustard. The heel pocket was kind of fake, it felt like there was a strip under the heel. Behind that bar he just felt "soft", very soft, without any support, like the feeling of falling backwards. Vault support is minimal. I just couldn't take it. I was really hoping they would work. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 as it might suit some people. Really good price. The foot insert may be suitable for a lighter person. Sent back and ordered Teva, checked and correct.
