This shiny lightweight jacket pairs well with a handbag and trainers I've had for a number of years (see pic). Fashion is cyclical and metallics are making a comeback this season. I've been waiting to release this accessory again. Now I'm putting them on this coat lined in a great contrasting color. Look at the photo and you'll see that the sleeves can be rolled up with a button, which can come in handy when you're wearing longer gloves or mittens, or just want a slightly shorter sleeve. There is also the option of closing or snapping the jacket, or both. If you look closely at the picture you can see one of my shoes in the bag so you can get an idea of how deep they are. They open without a button or zipper, but they're great for quick storage of your phone, keys, or gloves. Another feature I love about this jacket is the tapered hem from front to back. It's not a huge change in length, but it seems to make a difference in comfort whether you're sitting with your jacket buttoned or buttoned. I find it a bit small so if you plan on wearing bulky sweaters or layers the fit might be too tight. Even though it's November it's still not very cold here so I sat outside and read for an hour by the river wearing just a t-shirt and unbuttoned my coat and felt comfortable. I'm glad I found this jacket.
