We don't really have room on the "shelf" for a router, the Orbi is a little bulky. First I saw the plastic, I'm glad I kept digging. Pretty easy to install (I updated my wall anchors) and it looks pretty cozy. Nobody will grab them and they are far enough away to pick up a signal. These mounts are very strong and in my opinion the nicest of any other option I've seen from Revain. Very safe execution. In any case, Orbi does not fail. The only negative and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the mounting hardware provided is cheap and inadequate. Ideal for mounting Orbi. Keep in mind that the metal is soft and bends easily, but once installed this is not a problem. I used the included cheap plastic anchors to attach this to the drywall and they work great. I chose these from the available acrylic versions as acrylic tends to attract dust.
