Great tool but never needed

This tool worked well on my 2000 GTI. I had to remove a lot of material around the timing belt idler to use the tool, including the motor mount. If you need to adjust the timing belt pulley, it's better to use a mandrel. If you don't decide to replace the belt, tensioner or other parts around, this tool makes tensioning quick and easy.
