There were many "negative reviews" The trailer audio system uses a TV antenna for AM-FM. It sucks if you plug it into a cable because then it cuts off the antenna and you don't get FM reception. So I bought this to try as a custom antenna. He received the first application in the backwoods of VT. It actually worked out well, I honestly didn't expect it to do well with all the negative reviews but meh it actually worked out well so I listened to the local weather and Tunes won it. I'm sure it's not as good as the anethene installed on the outside of my RV. But what did I pay for and the ease of installation? it wins
