Finally the VHF antenna works!

I seem to have tried all the "best VHF antennas" and none of them changed my reception - until this one. Finally a working VHF antenna. I picked up FM stations but even the local station had noise that I wanted to get rid of. This is the ONLY VHF antenna that has done this. What a relief.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Worked for me for accessories and supplies

I live in a very rural area. I didn't have an outside antenna hooked up to the stereo in my garage and was only receiving about 3 FM radio stations. Since the product was very cheap I decided to take a chance and if it didn't increase my intake it wouldn't be such a big loss. All I had to do was plug the antenna straight into the back of the radio and I picked up about 14 FM stations.

Pros
  • Easy install

I can finally hear the stations!

I bought a nice Yamaha receiver for my home theater. It was ok but I didn't get any FM radio stations at all. Even with bad reception! I have the same problem with my car until I drive out of the house surrounded by foothills. I saw this antenna and read the reviews. The reviews were good so I bought it. Well now I have about 10 stations that sound great. There were others that weren't as good, so I don't count them. I am very happy!

Pros
  • Sturdy
Cons
  • Crumpled

A simple antenna that doesn't like being near live wires

Bought for use with Bose Wave Radio. It connects well with the included adapter, but the radio still causes interference with weaker signals. It turns out that the antenna doesn't like strings of light next to it. When I turned off the two small bulbs that share space with the radio the reception was fine, the bulbs were on and the reception was poor. That's probably just physics and not the antenna's fault, and shielded cabling is not to be expected at this price point.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • High price

Works for me! - Antennas

I'm having trouble transmitting 90.9 from Detroit (I live in a northern suburb) with the antenna that came with my old Sony bookshelf. I got it and now it's much better. . It's not perfect but I think it's because of my location and the trees and stuff. All the other stations I have are also much better, so that's a plus. It's cheap enough, so if it doesn't work, it's okay. If it works, you'll get a better radio. So give it a try if you're having trouble receiving wireless signals. It doesn't…

To be honest I wasn't expecting much.

There were many "negative reviews" The trailer audio system uses a TV antenna for AM-FM. It sucks if you plug it into a cable because then it cuts off the antenna and you don't get FM reception. So I bought this to try as a custom antenna. He received the first application in the backwoods of VT. It actually worked out well, I honestly didn't expect it to do well with all the negative reviews but meh it actually worked out well so I listened to the local weather and Tunes won it. I'm sure it's…

The antenna cannot connect to my FM radio.

Update: I heard from another reviewer that I need a separate "F-pin Quick Connect" adapter to connect this antenna to my radio. This adapter is available from Revain for about $3 and I just ordered it. First Review: This antenna gives excellent FM reception, but only when I stand next to the radio and manually push the end of the antenna cable into the radio connector. . Strangely, the unit comes with four different plugs and adapters, but none of them fit my FM radio! As far as I can tell, my…

This antenna works!

I have a Bose Wave radio on my covered patio. About 40 miles away, in Tubac, Arizona, there is an FM radio station that plays a wide variety of tunes seldom heard on typical Tucson "classic rock" stations. Better yet, it has NO ads! I could barely pick a station on my Bose radio so I bought a type F telescopic antenna and added an old aluminum foil sail to the end and it worked fine for a couple of months. I don't know what happened to the station, but suddenly I could hardly reach it. I read…
