I have a Bose Wave radio on my covered patio. About 40 miles away, in Tubac, Arizona, there is an FM radio station that plays a wide variety of tunes seldom heard on typical Tucson "classic rock" stations. Better yet, it has NO ads! I could barely pick a station on my Bose radio so I bought a type F telescopic antenna and added an old aluminum foil sail to the end and it worked fine for a couple of months. I don't know what happened to the station, but suddenly I could hardly reach it. I read the reviews for this dipole antenna and thought it was worth a try. That works great. Now the station is crystal clear! Very easy to install, just screw on the fitting and mount the antenna high.
