Review on 🏍️ DASEN1" Silver Handlebar Risers Spacer Kit for 2006-2022 Yamaha FJR 1300 Motorcycle Handlebars by William Nunes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Handlebar stand assembly and rating

Easy assembly (with appropriate tools) on a scale of 1-5, 1 is the hardest, 5 is the easiest, I would rate it a 4. Assembly time 90 minutes and I took my time and took my time. Please note that I would classify myself as a B+ mechanic to give you an idea of my basic skills. I am 61 years old and 5ft 10 inches tall. , and this setup was on a 2016 FJR 1300A. I wanted to sit more upright on long drives. These risers did the trick and I think they look pretty good and go well with the Yamaha handlebar color. (See Photo) For Installation To do this you will need to remove the handlebar support from the bike as you will need to remove the handlebar mount. Mounting to the bike is a 35mm aluminum nut. Don't try to use an adjustable wrench or for goodness sake a pipe wrench as you will clog that nut which is plainly visible. Dremel makes the job a lot easier by cutting off the cable/brake cable mounts. I also used some black zip ties to secure the wiring and cables after the risers were installed. Be sure to install the smaller hex bolt and nut first. Press firmly and make sure the handle lines up well with the riser, then tighten. When installing a larger nut and bolt, make sure the threaded end protrudes from the bottom of the riser. I also used a socket head cap screw with Yamaha's factory nut/dust cap instead of the supplied hex head. A hex bolt is difficult to tighten properly, while a hex bolt is easier and looks neater in my opinion. Hope this review helped!
