Cherry Units best in Controls

They work as advertised. As far up and back as you can without pulling cables and wires. If you are a handyman, you shouldn't have any problems with the installation.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • High price

Inexpensive product that works well

The product is very simple and well made. The installation experience was not very good as there were absolutely no instructions. Could also use 4 more washers for the bolt heads.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Neutral

didn't suit me. Fits

I looked at installing these risers and realized they weren't for me. The seller was a pleasure to work with and he refunded my money. I decided to ride my bike the way it was designed rather than modifying it for myself.

Pros
  • Handlebars Good
Cons
  • No Insurance

soft material ideal for motorcycles and motor sports

The dimensions were ok, but after installation the material was lying around where the pins were, which made installation questionable. The pins are strong but the riser material is too soft. Spend your money and get the best.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Negative is available

Handlebar riser bolts too soft

The hub itself is fine, but the flex bolts are too soft. They will be ripped off at any kind of torque. Bolts for such handlebars should be hardened, not soft. Now I can't withdraw tickets without piercing these things.

  • Absolute legend

Very impressed with the quality

Excellent. I recommend not cutting the wire hanger. It comes loose when you remove the 36mm nut. Also remember to put the bike on the center stand and not put any pressure on the front wheel. If you don't do this, you won't be able to attach the strut to the forks.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • No instructions

High quality stand.

I haven't installed it on the FJR yet and don't know if I ever will as I'm very comfortable with it. I just ordered them to have on the shelf in case my 63 year old body says it's time. Also, if I ever decide to put the seat more upright (yes I plan on having an FJR for a long time, it's a pleasure to drive for me and most likely buried with me) I most likely will .enjoy.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

After removing the handlebars and loosening the cable holders by cutting them off with large side cutters! I removed the large center nut and loosened both clamps to remove the brace from the rack that the handlebars were bolted to! I removed the brace under the steering rack that held the cables and bolts in place, then replaced the original brace holding the steering and suspension together. The attached vertical pins had to be compressed to the right size to make them small enough. get in…

Handlebar stand assembly and rating

Easy assembly (with appropriate tools) on a scale of 1-5, 1 is the hardest, 5 is the easiest, I would rate it a 4. Assembly time 90 minutes and I took my time and took my time. Please note that I would classify myself as a B+ mechanic to give you an idea of my basic skills. I am 61 years old and 5ft 10 inches tall. , and this setup was on a 2016 FJR 1300A. I wanted to sit more upright on long drives. These risers did the trick and I think they look pretty good and go well with the Yamaha…
