I was looking for some red boots for my son to wear with his Superman costume. These boots work very well. The only downside is the small black label on the outside of each shoe. It would be better if this label is on the back if needed. The boot has a high quality finish, the bottom of the tread will last a long time. My son loves them for walking in puddles and they will do well in the snow too as they keep the foot dry. The inner bottom is in the form of a soft rubber insert that gives the foot a comfortable and warm feeling. I ordered a size up so my son can wear at least 2 seasons. He loves wearing them (even indoors - lol)
