Not suitable for all vehicles
I purchased this unit to read the 'Check Engine' codes on my 2006 Silverado 2500HD diesel truck. The reader was not working properly, so I contacted Autel Technical Support. I've been told that the AL319 will not work on HD trucks over 1/2 ton, although there is a model that does. I haven't seen any ads calling for caution. My assessment is based on the seller's announcement not to disclose this detail.
