These coffee grinders have quite a large capacity and are easy to fill as the top part (grinder part) unscrews from the lower glass. The half grind is also adjustable so you can get a coarser or finer grind. That's not entirely correct, but sufficient for me. One potential problem is that you need to be sure the two halves are screwed together tightly, as you'll have to turn the entire top half over to grind and you can easily end up with a handful of peppercorns on your plate if the halves aren't screwed tightly. . It almost happened to me. These grinders have a fairly wide mouth, so to speak, so you can easily use them when cooking to pour S&P into pots, but not so easily when trying to measure into a small container. However, I'll single out a few minor things here because these are basically reliable grinders that perform well so you don't have to keep refilling them, they are easy to clean, easy to fill and easy to use.
