I ordered TWO of these towel rails. Every time a customer asked what color to go with the MATTE NICKEL lights, the customer responses weren't very helpful, so I decided to order the item to see for myself. The answer is: the SATIN finish goes well with the MATTE NICKEL lights. I don't know about the other colors but the SATIN finish I bought looks really nice next to my brushed nickel fixtures. Also just for info. The SIZE of this towel rail is PERFECT for a medium sized face towel. When I say medium, I mean a medium-sized face towel purchased from places like Macy's or Bed Bath & Beyond. There's 1) MOUSE, 2) TOWELS, 3) FACE TOWELS, and 4) BODY TOWELS - I mean FACE TOWELS, which are larger than washcloths and guest towels, but much smaller than body towels. I hope that makes sense. Either way, this freestanding towel rail is GREAT for storing facial towels and won't wobble or lose balance. I put a face towel on this stand, it fit so perfectly you couldn't even see most of the stand anyway. The face cloth pretty much covers the entire frame so the only part of the frame you can see is the base. Depending on how you position the rack, you may not see the base at all. Glad I ordered two of these. Yes, I would recommend it to others.
