This solar lantern puts out a very impressive flower design on the ground, or in my case, on my deck. The first thing I did was let the lantern charge all day in direct sunlight. Be sure to have the lantern turned on when charging. The ON button is underneath the solar panel. Once fully charged, this lantern is bright, and definitely will get your attention at night.I currently have the lantern hanging on the edge of my deck. The first thing I noticed when it got dark out was the incredible flower patterns on my deck and the side of my house. It looks really interesting and fun. Once the winter is over, I will hang this lantern in my front yard garden so everyone can see it at night. I have a shepherds hook that will work perfectly with this lantern.
