Well it's up to you! My lint trap is on the front of my washing machine, so it was a little awkward to peek inside and get the hose where it belongs. The way it was packaged made the pipe oddly curved, making it even more difficult. But it lifted a ton! The end really had to be exactly how you wanted it sucked in, and I found that the lint was so stuck to the inside of the dryer that I had to kind of scratch the tube on the inside to break the lint. for free. The picture is all I could get the first time. I need to straighten the pipe before trying again.
