I put this in my bag at the last minute on a recent trip to Costa Rica - so glad I did. Due to a mix-up with my booked holiday apartment, I was unable to move into my apartment after arriving late (i.e. midnight). The city was dead silent, I couldn't find any WiFi or cellular signal to connect, and it was so late that probably no one would have replied to my texts until morning anyway. So I had to sleep outside, actually in the jungle. It was stuffy, there were biting bugs everywhere, but having this pup in my bag allowed me to build a bug screen around the sun lounger and get a couple of hours sleep relatively comfortably. I was able to get into my rental the next morning, and while it had good screens, there were still the occasional bugs. I hung it over my bed and I had nothing but good nights sleep throughout my trip. The backpacks are quite small considering it is a "king" size. I'm not worried about crushing or damaging it, so it can just be pushed where there is space.
