Update March 15, 2017 ECCPP offered to send me a free set of these coils after I sent my last ones back to test and try for the following reasons. This time I took some photos to show the difference. The all black coil is a defective OE coil from Ford. The white and gray are from Autozone and the black and gray are from O'Reilly Auto Parts. I've recently replaced 2 coils at 2 different aftermarkets and they've worked great but a few more have failed so this seems like the perfect excuse to check them out. While they still don't solve the problem of the load springs being too small to fit on the spark plug tip, which is very noticeable in the picture, they're second from the left, they appear to be installed well. Because the spring doesn't fit over the connector, they spring a little when you try to insert them and don't fully seat until you tighten them with a screw. The connectors seem to fit perfectly and snap into place as they should. All in all, for the price, you definitely can't go wrong. I will update this in the future (set a reminder on my phone calendar) and delete them in 6 months time to see how they deal with the heat and stress. ---------------- -- -- ------------------------------ ---------------- -- -- ------------------------------ ---------------- -- -- ------------------------------ ---------------- -- -- ------------------------------ ----- As others have said, the springs do not fit the plugs correctly, you can still install them and they will work fine for a while, but this will cause the spring to eventually melt. Will send them back and go with OEM.
