I am an old quilter and have been quilting for almost 40 years. But I'm new to rotary cutters. I finally decided to try one of these while making my first denim blanket from recycled blue jeans. The first cutter I tried had a guard that limited my vision. After a long search I decided to try this set. I am surprised and pleased with the ease of use and cutting ability of the cutters. I may never go back to scissors! They feel good in the hand and I can cut for a long time until I get tired. The blades are very sharp now but I'm glad the spare blades are included as I cut a lot of denim.
