I only put 4 because there might be something better out there that I haven't tried. I read about this product on a blog about antique guns. I use it specifically to salvage leather holsters from WWII. It's not exactly cheap, but it works far better than anything else, and a little goes a long way. Some leather cleaners contain harmful additives. it doesn't, but be sure to follow directions - change applicator fabric often. I recently tried this product on the skin of a WWII A2 pilot and it worked well too.
