Review on Household Essentials 175: Silver Powder Coated 18-Inch Flexible Iron Cord Minder by Troy Houston

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works. It s cheap.

Almost all of the reviews I read before buying this iron were bad, but I only found one option that was pretty cheap, less than $8, and another that was more than cost $30. I am very happy that I bought this. I see how a careless person can break the plastic piece holding the cord. You need to carefully spread the plastic pieces to fit the cord. The cord does not go through this part; it is firmly glued. The metal rod that holds the cord is flexible and will bend slightly as you move the iron far enough to take advantage of the slack in the cord. I can also see how someone might rip out the grooves on the plastic screw that attaches the machine to the ironing board, but I've been turning it slowly and the screw has held up well for months now. I iron a lot for myself, my son and his two girls. I'm happy with this top.
