Due to my sensitive skin and thinning hair I am a big advocate of natural cosmetics. I stopped using harsh chemical soaps on my hands and those little pimples went away. I've stopped using harsh chemical hair products and my hair is stronger and healthier than ever! I rely on EWG to find certified products and it has changed my life. Using a natural shampoo and conditioner also takes some getting used to. They don't lather like traditional shampoos, but that's because they lack those specific synthetic chemicals (SLS) that are designed to lather, but these chemicals are bad for your hair. It's amazing what you can learn with a little research on specific chemicals. From clogged pores to hormonal issues, even the most famous brands have nasty secrets. This set has very few ingredients and uses soapberries (or "soapnut", a natural soap but it can dry out the skin, so focus on that). Shampoo only on the scalp and conditioner on the ends. You can buy an organic coconut oil hair mask to combat dryness on your ends. If you ever get your hands on an actual soapberry, boil it for 10 minutes. and then when you rub it in your hands, you've got soap! It's crazy, but it works! I love that this set is free from parabens, alcohols, SLS, PEGs, silicones and preservatives. All of the above ingredients are natural! Bizarre smell like wood glue but that's due to the natural processes I take. The reason traditional shampoos and conditioners smell so good is because of all the added fragrances which are also very bad for the skin and hair. This shampoo and conditioner left my hair really clean and lathering more than I expected. It made my hair soft but I have used other natural shampoos and conditioners which really made my hair soft. I'm still trying to figure out what ingredient exactly makes it. Keep in mind that when you switch from shampoos with strong chemical additives to natural shampoos, your hair will go through a transition phase where you may end up with more oil than before, but this is only temporary. If you survive this transitional period, which can last anywhere from a few days to several months, your hair will thank you and so will planet earth! I would recommend this shampoo and conditioner set if you are looking for an all natural product that is eco friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
