I wore it all day to the pool party and was very satisfied. The only thing that burned me was my legs, which is my fault for not bothering to put sunscreen on them. I was a little concerned that the black was too hot but was pleasantly surprised to find it turned out to be much colder than I expected. Love how I was able to put the hood on and protect my neck. As I got in the water and put the cape back on, I was comfortable and pleased that the fabric wasn't soaking up all the moisture of a wet bathing suit. It dries pretty quickly when you're out in the sun. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and will be using it for all future days at the pool and beach.
