Review on ๐Ÿ”‘ KeylessOption Replacement Key Fob Remote Control for Mini Van - GQ43VT20T by Trendsetters Hare

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great, but use other instructions if it doesn't work at first glance. Love it!

KeylessOption Keyless Entry Remote Control Fob Replacement Transmitter Compatible With GQ43VT20T After buying a used Toyota Sienna 08 that didn't have a remote key I figured I'd just have to do without it. Imagine my surprise that I was able to find it at Revain for $20. The steps are a bit complicated and easier for someone to read the steps, but I was able to do it myself. The only problem I had was that when I followed the instructions for my make and model, no matter what button I ended up pushing, the doors would lock, unlock, lock, unlock and the car would end up unlocked. This also happened when pressing the lock, unlock. side doors or tailgate. After several attempts, all ending with the same results, I decided to try the instructions on the back of the paper intended for other brands and models. When I was done, I was able to open and close the sliding doors and tailgate, and lock and unlock the doors. If you follow the instructions carefully and it doesn't work, try the other instructions overleaf. I'm glad I didn't have to pay the dealer a fortune for a remote control key! Update: After using the keychain, it becomes apparent that the seal showing what each button is used for wears off with use, as many previous reviewers have pointed out. I very carefully applied a coat of clear nail polish to each key and that seemed to fix the problem. It looks fun with the shiny buttons, but I no longer have to worry about the paint peeling off the keychain buttons.
