My kitchen knife set is only a year old but I use it every day and lately I've found that the blades aren't as impressive as they were when they were new. Revan to the rescue! This knife sharpener is really easy to use but no instructions were provided so I had to go back to the online description for details. Diamond slot for badly damaged blades, tungsten slot for general sharpening, ceramic slot for final polishing. It has greatly improved my knife set, but it's definitely not as sharp as new, but certainly good enough for me. It is compact and easy to store in your kitchen tool box. Comes with a glove, which is odd. Which hand are you wearing it on? I didn't use it because it smells like stale cigarette smoke. The scissor sharpener seemed like a silly addition and was a bit more fiddly to use, but it did a great job of sharpening my scissors better than new.
