The design made it difficult to accidentally press buttons. I had this annoying problem with other brands too. In addition to the normal locking function, the remote control also goes into sleep mode after a few seconds of inactivity. Then you have to press the button once to wake him up and then again to activate the collar. A simple touch often doesn't turn it on either. Our pets deserve the maximum protection we can offer against our human errors. Battery life is great, there are 2 collars in the box and a very nice touch that I didn't know I needed until I got it is a separate charging cable that charges the remote and collar together. Nobody likes cables cluttering up space or an item that takes up multiple outlets. So a clevis is a pretty cherry on the cake. Definitely recommended. Safe learning for everyone.
