I connected the charging cable to the USBC port of this adapter. After a few days, my Mac started glitching. Completely discharged battery. I unplugged the adapter and took the Mac to a repair shop. They plugged it in and I came back an hour later and everything was fine. Everything is loaded. I took it home and plugged in the adapter. The next day my battery was empty. I borrowed my daughter's adapter that plugs into a single USBC. No problem. Works like a champ. DO NOT PLUG THE CHARGER INTO THE USB PORT. Better yet, buy an adapter that plugs into a port. Use the second port to charge your Mac. Also, this adapter is very difficult to remove,
