It drained my Mac battery

I connected the charging cable to the USBC port of this adapter. After a few days, my Mac started glitching. Completely discharged battery. I unplugged the adapter and took the Mac to a repair shop. They plugged it in and I came back an hour later and everything was fine. Everything is loaded. I took it home and plugged in the adapter. The next day my battery was empty. I borrowed my daughter's adapter that plugs into a single USBC. No problem. Works like a champ. DO NOT PLUG THE CHARGER INTOโ€ฆ

I love the usefulness of this adapter. My only gripe is that it's less thick than the MacBook Pro, so it doesn't rest on the table top. So when you plug in a USB-C power cable or an HDMI cable, it pulls out and puts a lot of pressure on the two USB-C connectors that come with the laptop. At some point they fail. I wish it was a bit thicker or with different sized sticky rubber feet for various newer MacBooks. It works very well and doesn't get very hot considering it's powering the laptop.

Ideal for working from home

This is perfect for my WFH setup. It has all the ports I need for my daily work, and since everything connected to my device is connected through a hub, I can very easily disconnect it when I go to the couch or to another room want to answer a call. and plug it back in when I'm back at my desk - I like that you can just unplug the hub rather than each cable individually. It's worth noting that I only use the hub when I'm working on a desktop. fragile (bends up and down easily) so it feels likeโ€ฆ

Ideal for MacBook without a case

I like this article. I didn't realize how awkward the new MacBook Pro was in terms of outlet shape. The crowd is impressive but the shape is odd. However, it is the ideal purchase to place on the left or right side of a MacBook Pro (I recommend the left as the right has a headphone slot which is difficult to reach when this item is plugged in on that side). The sockets for this device work properly. The only problem I see is not with this item or the MacBook, but that the item will not connectโ€ฆ
