If you want a stylish looking helmet over the top this is the product for you. I tried to convince myself that the pain wasn't that bad. I've had several serious accidents where my helmet saved my life and the lack of cushioning and fit I just can't believe. Check out the photos - almost no cushioning, and the size adjuster bites the back of the head as many others have mentioned. I had to listen, but I also wanted a cool helmet. I thought for a moment that maybe the box has the thicker padding that some helmet manufacturers offer. And no, there was only one bag? I suggest Smith ditch the bag that no one is likely to use and add some padding. I'm going back and probably back to Specialized or Troy Lee?
