Review on SONY MDR-Z1R WW2 Signature: Superior Sound Quality in Black (International Version) by Athit Janhiran ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

The case is chic, the ears are inconspicuous, the sound is accurate, but there is a feeling that something is missing and you have been deceived. There are no frills and transcendence of sound - stupidly such as it is. At first it is discouraging - then an amateur. Pros: Reseeding from the usual studio ears of the Baers DT150, you understand that they are the same, only more drive, more sound, it is freer and not so tight. No holography, super stage, no super sound. The sound is as it should be. The bass does not beat, it is present with an infrabass. Looping is a distorted bass in Baer 990, in the 150s it seems to be there - enough for mixing, but in Sony it is really present, voluminous and specific. There is no coloring, stupidly no. In terms of mid frequencies, the question is not R10, not CD3000, the mids do not stick out with purity, they just exist. Meaty, weighty, transparent, not electrostatic, no. Very emotional and cool, I don't need jewelry. There is no finesse of the sound of Audio Technicians at the top of the instrumental, but there is the reality of the sound, this is an absolutely honest without compromise version of the sound as it is. In general, the main plus is the honesty of the sound. Minus - you need a very good amplifier for them, with ordinary sources they work like ordinary headphones for 10 Cons below: The trouble is with amplification, you need a normal external amplifier. Sony's proprietary amp solves the issue, but you need another 100 The minuses did not understand - no money or problems? Write in the comments, these mega ears are really like taking some new iPhone. But it is forever.
