I recently purchased this unit as a software upgrade for an installed NVR. After installing my old hard drive, I went through a simple installation process and then installed 4 cameras. I have already ordered another camera. The cameras are very easy to connect to the system. The images are exceptional, as is the face recognition feature. The program is generally easy to use. The IR function is phenomenally clear and sharp - much better than my previous NVR. My only regret is that there is no instruction manual to inform the user about the correct settings etc. Otherwise it's a great system. at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
