Not very strong

I bought it for counted cross stitch on Aida canvas. The metal screw tensioners are very weak and you cannot tighten them enough to tighten the fabric as the metal parts will easily bend. In addition, the wood is not smooth and even split in places. This might work for light fabric embroidery, but not for a counted cross. I do not recommend. Spend a little more and get a better tire.
