Best for thick hair, not good for fine hair

I have very fine hair and not enough product to really grab my hair to keep it from falling out. My hair is below the shoulder blade (middle of the back) but it is very thin. I managed to get it working with wet hair but you could see the clip going through the other side. Overall this is a great concept, pretty genius but I'm guessing it's for thicker, fuller hair as it doesn't hold all of my hair or stay in place and it shines through on my hair.
