Review on Keyboard Microsoft Ergonomic for Business black, English by Michal Michal ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with everything, both price and quality, I advise you to buy.

After the failure of Microsoft's Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop and Surface Ergonomic Keyboard — the latter of which is slightly superior to the former but did not make its debut on the market until 2022 — I patiently waited for the company to release a suitable ergonomic keyboard. Only the keys 1, 2, 3, and player control keys (a total of four pieces) can be completely customized using the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Control Center. You are only able to turn off CapsLock and the Application key, which is located to the left of Windows. We have not yet begun installing third-party software. In terms of the materials, the keys are made of plastic, and while they have some degree of roughness, they are not completely smooth. Elastic, highly pleasant membrane. The body itself is made of plastic. It is not known how robust the material that they used this time is, but so far after 5 months of use there are no signs of deterioration, although I try not to put my hands on it. The lining seems to be something between rubber and foam rubber, soft but elastic, like foam rubber. It is not known how resistant the material that they used this time is. Regarding the ease of maintenance, I have not yet disassembled the device. Regarding its resistance to water, I haven't examined it just yet. Regarding the cleaning, I was not successful in blowing through the gap under the keys, but the keys themselves are detachable, so you can remove them and wipe them clean. After five months of use, the keyboard only required one cleaning of this kind. When pressing the Ctrl Shift Caps and Tab keys, which are located on the left, and pressing from the edge, it requires more effort, and the keys sink in with a creaking sound. I came to this realization over the course of time. They will go normally if you press in the middle of the button. There is no such thing as the right control key followed by the shift key and the enter key. Most likely broken when he took the keys out of the lock.

Pros
  • Ergonomic improvements have made typing both more convenient and quicker. a chic and disciplined design. Keyboard shortcuts for several forms of media that increase functionality. I appreciate the presence of the emoji key.
Cons
  • One of the most significant drawbacks associated with purchasing peripherals from Microsoft is that it is not possible to get either the warranty or non-warranty models repaired. If it breaks because of a warranty case while the warranty period is still active, the seller's store will simply replace it with a new one; if it does not break owing to a warranty case, you will need to throw it away or fix it yourself. There are no service centers operated by Microsoft. Not all of the keys can be customized. There have been some adjustments made to the normal placement of the keys. The Windows key has been relocated to the right, under the ring finger, which presents a challenge for relearning if you adjust the layout using the combination of Win and Space.
