I like the ease of putting on shoes, they are non-slip. The laces have a tensioner/buckle to keep the laces tight and also have velcro to prevent the laces from snagging or snagging. ☆ I wish the laces were a bit thicker because I'm afraid they might break if I pull too hard to tighten the fit. These shoes are perfectly machine washable on gentle cycle [dry air], dirt and grime won't stain. Good grip on asphalt, sand, mud and loose woodland. I would recommend this shoe. I wear women's American 10's, this is European 42. No pinching, heel chafing or toe pinching. I love the roomy toe! This is a great buy for hikers traveling through the subway park, good on a variety of surfaces. Try it.
