We've been doing an audible and vibrating collar for a while and it just didn't work all the time so we're like, ok, maybe we need something different (having tried EVERYTHING we could with the training before we resorted to this shock collar, please bear that in mind, we really didn't want to get it). I cleaned our coffee table and the remote sat on the couch while our Aussie sniffed it and hit the shock button (we haven't used that setting until now because we just couldn't bring ourselves to it) and oh my god. I've NEVER heard them sound like that. These shock collars are so brutal I couldn't imagine putting them on animals. I'd rather have a silly dog than ever, ever use one of these on my poor kid. Please reconsider this.
