Review on Wyze Video Doorbell with Chime: 1080p HD Video, 3:4 Aspect Ratio, 3:4 Head-to-Toe View, 2-Way Audio, Night Vision, Hardwired – Including Horizontal Wedge by Rahul Schatz

Ok here it is, I LOVE this doorbell. This replaced the 2nd generation ring. I like the Wyze's smaller size as well as the built-in horn. Great because the chime can be programmed to different alarm tones. The camera's picture and video are excellent. DAY OR NIGHT! it is very clear and almost no lag in real time. I connect it to the same adapter (18VAC) as for the Ring V2. Installation was easy as all I had to do was drill 2 holes in the mortar and attach it. Installation. Take your time and follow each step. You will find that the installation is very easy. When you get to the part of the setup where you had to scan the QR code, hold it up to the camera and then upload it to your network. I'm emphasizing this because I made a mistake and tried to scan the code with my phone. LOL Once I got over my brain fart the rest was easy. Very easy. network connection. Wyze is NOT compatible with 5G. So for now I've uploaded it to my 2.4GHz band. I was worried it would be installed outside of a brick house, so I have a standby Wi-Fi extender (I need it for the Ring V2). To my great surprise, I don't need an extension cord. I get a full Wi-Fi connection without an extender (you may have other circumstances). alexa Turn on the Wyze skill and don't look back. I have a first generation Echo Show. It shows me the doorbell, but the video has a different orientation that I can't change. But I believe this is an Alexa issue. But I'm still happy with the full screen video I get on my phone. Overall, I give this device 5 stars for its ease of installation, setup, and performance. I believe that over time more features will be implemented that will make this doorbell even better. The time will show. But so far I am very satisfied and surprised by the effectiveness of this little doorbell. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good doorbell along with a very cheap annual or monthly subscription to be able to use all of its features. I don't think you will be disappointed.
