We bought this to store mop, broom and other cleaning essentials without the hassle of pulling them out of the closet. This made it very easy to access and return items like our broom and wash them with ease. We no longer have a brush that may or may not warp when pressed against a wall or shelf. It's fairly easy to install and comes with screws and drywall weights for installation. We installed them on a hollow interior door, so we bought special weights made specifically for the hollow interior door. To install it, all you have to do is hold it where you want to install it, make sure it's level, and then mark the holes with a pen or pencil. Fit drywall weights (if required), then simply screw on the bracket and you're done. At 17" wide, I think it will easily fit a small interior door (usually 24" wide for small doors). Holds objects firmly and easily reaches objects inside and out. An added bonus are the fold down hooks that stay securely in place when raised or lowered. If you're considering getting one of these broom and mop holders, they're definitely worth it. Just make sure you use the correct weight for your mounting surface so the holder stays up.
