I won one of these brushes at a meet up. I hadn't tried one before, but quickly realized that I had to. Their design is fundamentally different from cheaper counterparts. With cheaper water brushes I've either had too little or too much water in the brush and frankly it was frustrating to use. What sets these brushes apart is that they can control how much water is distributed throughout the brush and they hold the pigment perfectly. As soon as I got home from the meeting, I ordered a full set of three. Yes, these brushes are more expensive than their competitors, but the difference in quality is worth it. And just FYI - the TSA doesn't look at it when you go through airport security. I can't tell you how many small water bottles (for my watercolors) I forgot in my holdall and then my bag was searched for any liquid that showed up on a scan and I had to throw it out. You can use them to draw on the plane if you want to sketch on the go. No long and boring flights.
