Perfectly customizable.

Perfectly adaptable. Thanks to all the previous reviews I was able to make an informed decision. When it arrived it could be used with a cloth glove but I wanted to use it without. this and addressing some of the shortcomings noted by others. 1) First I wanted to expand some of the edges for convenience. I used an air solder repair station set at 230°C and a 4 fan setting, using the center tip to heat the edges section by section. I then used pliers to crease the edges. The result can be seen in the first picture. 2) Without a sock, my thumb was too loose and too short, causing the rim to chafe as well. I used my hot air station again along with the hose clamp to reduce the diameter for a snug fit around my thumb and bent back the edge with pliers to widen the edge. See second photo. 3) Finally, there was a review about how difficult it was to remove the velcro. This was solved by cutting a small piece of fluffy velcro and placing it on top of the strip. Now I have an open space to grab the velcro. Third photo. Someone will say that this is a lot of trouble and work. No single product can work for everyone. It is impossible. Besides, what is a small or even big task to relieve pain?
