My pediatrician made me realize that I'll probably need extra ankle and arch support for the rest of my life, so I'm basically looking at every shoe. I often wear sandals so I decided to try it. Much better than my previous shoes and the arch is significant. It took a few days to get used to. I don't know if they will hold up in the long run, but after three weeks they give a good hold. If you're just starting out looking for sandals with above average support, this is a good choice to start with, especially for the price. I downgraded a star because I feel they haven't held up as well as I had hoped. . After the season, they kind of smoothed out. I replaced them with another brand (EVERHEALTH) which seems to work better.
