Review on DaToo Aquarium Power Filter: Ultra Silent 🐠 3W Fish Tank Filter with 1 Year Warranty by Erica Houlf

I bought this about 2 months ago. As already mentioned, the design has disadvantages and allows both filtered and unfiltered water to pass through. However, with some small changes, it is much better. I just bought an aquarium sponge and cut it to cover the outlet. As I added, my cock kept swimming in it, and the sponge prevented him from doing so. Instead of buying it and modifying the sponge to match, why not just send it back? This jerk is SILENT. My aquarium is literally next to my bed and it doesn't bother me at all. I've tried a few branded whisper filters that were louder (although admittedly they'd be fine if I didn't have a tank next to my bed). Some have mentioned noise. I noticed that it was louder when the device was not filled with water. So I can't tell how it would work in a turtle setup or something like that. It seems to have gotten quieter over time and is now virtually silent in my 10 gallons. In my previous 5 gallons it did a good job of filtering but the flow was a little stronger. The flow is not regulated. However, at 10 gallons with sponge insert, flow is gentle but circulating, and with the addition of sponge, filtration is excellent. I have a white t shirt that I am going to give away as it will go well together. But with my current 10 (which has a black background which I like) it really isn't aesthetically pleasing. Overall this filter is good for the price but if you don't want your fish swimming in it like salmon. river, it requires a change.
