You should check out youtube videos on how to take roomba apart. The problem I had was the plug that had to be plugged in for the top room limit button to work. It was almost impossible to connect properly and I ended up bending the pins. $1,000 for a vacuum that fails after 2 years is not a wise investment. The exchange probably worked as it should, but I'll never know.
