Easy to clean, easy to clean. I was looking for a solution that was easy to clean and didn't require soap in one hand and a washcloth in the other. This product allows me to clean and lather with one hand. The sponge is not attached in any way - it comes right out of the case (and can be used for dishwashing or other purposes). The inside of the silicone case is smooth with no nicks or anything that would make cleaning the inside difficult. It is very flexible so you can just turn it inside out and wash it. I put a bar of soap in it. The soap slides out very easily so I took a silicone band and wrapped it around the opposite side of the case to keep the case closed. It's not perfect, but it keeps the soap from sliding out and the band doesn't get in the way of cleaning. When the soap gets smaller this solution doesn't work so I just add another new soap with the smaller old soap. Together they provide enough volume for the strap to keep the sleeve closed.
