I have 2 older lard ass cats. They are both over 17lbs. I really didn’t think they would care about the hammock and would be all over the cat beds at the top but quite the opposite. The upper condo is a bit small so my 1 cat that sleeps in there always has legs or his head sticking out but he seems to like it. The beds on the posts at the top are a bit flat and the edges don’t mean much. I’m still waiting for one to roll out of it in a deep sleep and take the long fall down.Assembly was super easy and didn’t take long. I starting having some fit issues half way up but it was my fault. I got 1 layer 90 deg off and had to backtrack but it was smooth from there on.Overall not bad. My cats wouldn’t go near it at first but now they lay on it most of the day. This replaced a small end table with a cat bed in front of my office window but now they get the view from way up high.FYI- this bad boy is bigger than I expected height wise. Might want to make sure it’ll fit where you want it because on the upper deck of it, my cat is way above my head. I saw the dimension but didn’t really sink in until it was all together.My only dislike it 1 piece of the hardware is a bolt with a wing nut that sticks down in a spot the cats travel to get up. I’m going to swap mine out with a lock nut and shorten the bolt so they don’t take a shot to the eye on it.
