Please correct me if I'm wrong but the wire in these 2 pin quick connectors is tinned copper not just copper. While tinned copper might be better as it's more resistant to corrosion (according to Google), I bought these with the understanding that the wire would be bare copper and not tinned copper. This tinned copper is very thin (like hair) and wears out very easily, making it difficult to splice or join wires. When you try to strip a wire, you can't help but cut off part of the tinned wire and it gets scattered all over the place. With the regular 10 AWG wire I used, this isn't a problem at all. I'm not saying it's a bad product but the product isn't as advertised and if I had known it was going to be that little tinned copper I would have chosen a different product (probably should have read the reviews) . more careful). No shipping problems or anything like that. This review is all about the product itself and how it was advertised. Disclaimer: I am not an expert in this field and am just trying to do a DIY project with this product.
